Anti-Condensation Heater (Scanner)

• This option is provided as a service part.

Installation Procedure

1. Remove the ARDF or platen cover (
2. Remove the rear cover (
3. Remove the ARDF exposure glass and exposure glass with left scale (
4. Remove the scanner rear frame (
5. Move the scanner carriage [A] to the right side by rotating the scanner motor.
6. Install the heater [B] in the scanner unit (
7. Put the cable through the cutout [C].
