This chapter explains how to use the debugging console of the Cisco IEC 4600 Series.

The IEC has a custom debug shell that provides command line interface for running diagnostics
commands and other debugging and troubleshooting activities.
You will need the Device Maintenance Code (DMC) to access the debugging console. The DMC is found
on the General tab of the IEC's Device screen in the IEM.
