Refers to a cable consisting of a pair of
wires which are twisted around each
other, so as to minimise pick up of
unwanted signals from other circuits.
Transmit.
An ISDN reference point that occurs
between the NT1 and the network. It is
the first reference point at the customer
premise.
Flow control where the control signal
passes in band in the normal data flow.
The special characters XON (11H) and
XOFF (13H) are used to halt and to
restart the flow of data
respectively.
