Data calls

There are two ways in which an incoming call can be
answered, depending on whether it is a Data or a Voice
Type call.
Incoming data calls are answered automatically. If the
call is on the currently selected channel and no BER test
is in progress, aurora
displays a LOOP CONNECTED screen.
Information displayed

Line 2 displays the bearer capability.
•
Line 4 displays the Called Party Number (CPN).
•
Line 5 displays the Calling Line Identity (CLID), if
contained within the incoming call setup.
If the incoming call is on a channel other than the one
currently selected, the F2 (channel selection) function key
flashes to alert you to the call.
To connect a BER test
Highlight CONNECT BERT and press SELECT. aurora
displays the BERT CONNECTED screen for the relevant
bearer capability.
