This section allows you to map an already configured Group Name to a VLAN for the selected stack
switch u nit s witch.
Web I nterface
To D isplay t he G roup N ame o f V LAN m apping t able c onfigured i n t he w eb i nterface:
1. Click G roup N ame V LAN c onfiguration a nd a dd n ew e ntry.
2. Specify t he G roup N ame a nd V LAN I D.
3. Click A pply.

Parameter d escription:
Delete:

To delete a Group Name to VLAN map entry, check this box. The entry will be deleted on the
switch d uring t he n ext S ave.
Group N ame:

A valid Group Name is a string of, at most, 16 characters that consists of a combination of
alphabetic characterss (a-­‐z or A-­‐Z) and integers (0-­‐9), and no special character is allowed. The
Group n ame y ou t ry t o m ap t o a V LAN m ust b e p resent i n t he P rotocol t o G roup m apping t able a nd
must n ot b e a lready u sed b y a ny o ther e xisting m apping e ntry o n t his p age.
VLAN I D:

Indicates t he I D t o w hich t he G roup N ame w ill b e m apped. A v alid V LAN I D r anges f rom 1 –4095.
Port M embers:

A row of check boxes for each port is displayed for each Group Name to VLAN ID mapping. To
include a p ort i n a m apping, c heck t he b ox. T o r emove o r e xclude t he p ort f rom t he m apping, m ake
sure t he b ox i s u nchecked. B y d efault, n o p orts a re m embers, a nd a ll b oxes a re u nchecked.
Adding a N ew G roup t o V LAN m apping e ntry:

Click to add a new entry in mapping table. An empty row is added to the table, and the Group
Name, VLAN ID and port members can be configured as needed. Legal values for a VLAN ID are 1
through 4 095. T he b utton c an b e u sed t o u ndo t he a ddition o f n ew e ntry.
Buttons:

Apply – C lick t o s ave c hanges.
Reset-­‐ C lick t o u ndo a ny c hanges m ade l ocally a nd r evert t o p reviously s aved v alues.
Auto-­‐refresh:

Select t he a uto-­‐refresh i con a nd t he d evice w ill r efresh t he i nformation a utomatically.
