Enable L oop P rotection:

Controls w hether l oop p rotections i s e nabled ( as a w hole).
Transmission T ime:

The interval between each loop protection PDU sent on each port. Valid values are 1 to 10
seconds.
Shutdown T ime:

The period (in seconds) for which a port will be kept disabled in the event of a loop is detected
(and t he p ort a ction s huts d own t he p ort). V alid v alues a re 0 t o 6 04800 s econds ( 7 d ays). A v alue o f
zero w ill k eep a p ort d isabled ( until n ext d evice r estart).
Port N o:

The s witch p ort n umber o f t he p ort.
Enable:

Controls w hether l oop p rotection i s e nabled o n t his s witch p ort.
Action:

Configures the action performed when a loop is detected on a port. Valid values are Shutdown Port,
Shutdown P ort a nd L og o r L og O nly.
Tx M ode:

Controls whether the port is actively generating loop protection PDUs, or whether it is just passively looking
for l ooped P DUs.
