2-­‐17.3 I P S ubnet-­‐based V LAN
The IP subnet-­‐based VLAN entries can be configured here. This page allows you to add, update, and
delete IP subnet-­‐based VLAN entries and assign the entries to different ports. This page shows only
static e ntries.
Web I nterface
To D isplay I P s ubnet-­‐based V LAN M embership t o c onfigured i n t he w eb i nterface:
1. Click V CL, G roup N ame V LAN c onfiguration, a nd a dd n ew e ntry.
2. Specify t he V CE I D, I P A ddress, M ask L ength, V LAN I D, a nd s elect P ort M embers.
3. Click A pply.

Parameter d escription:
Delete

To delete an IP subnet-­‐based VLAN entry, check this box and press save. The entry will be deleted
on t he s elected s witch i n t he s tack.
VCE I D

Indicates t he i ndex o f t he e ntry. I t i s u ser c onfigurable. I ts v alue r anges f rom 0 –128. I f a V CE I D i s 0 ,
the application will auto-­‐generate the VCE ID for that entry. Deletion and lookup of IP
subnet-­‐based V LAN a re b ased o n V CE I D.
IP A ddress

Indicates t he I P a ddress.
Mask L ength

Indicates t he n etwork m ask l ength.
VLAN I D

Indicates t he V LAN I D. T his c an b e c hanged f or t he e xisting e ntries.
Port M embers

A row of check boxes for each port is displayed for each IP subnet-­‐based VLAN entry. To include a
port in an IP subnet-­‐based VLAN, check the box. To remove or exclude the port from the IP
subnet-­‐based VLAN, make sure the box is unchecked. By default, no ports are members, and all
boxes a re u nchecked.
