you c an d esignate a ny V LAN a s t he m anagement V LAN u sing t he M anagement V LAN w indow. O nly
one m anagement V LAN c an b e a ctive a t a t ime.
When y ou s pecify a n ew m anagement V LAN, y our H TTP c onnection t o t he o ld m anagement V LAN i s
lost. F or t his r eason, y ou s hould h ave a c onnection b etween y our m anagement s tation a nd a p ort i n
the n ew m anagement V LAN o r c onnect t o t he n ew m anagement V LAN t hrough a m ulti-­‐VLAN r oute.

By default, only VLAN 1 exists. More VLANs may be created by using a list syntax where the
individual elements are separated by commas. Ranges are specified with a dash separating the
lower a nd u pper b ound.
The f ollowing e xample w ill c reate V LANs 1 , 1 0, 1 1, 1 2, 1 3, 2 00, a nd 3 00: 1 , 1 0–13, 2 00, 3 00. S paces
are a llowed b etween t he d elimiters.
Ethertype f or C ustom S -­‐ports:

This field specifies the ethertype/TPID (specified in hexadecimal) used for Custom S-­‐ports. The
setting i s i n f orce f or a ll p orts t hat h ave t he P ort T ype s et t o S -­‐Custom-­‐Port.
