Retransmit  
Retransmit  is  the  number  of  times,  in  the  range  1  to  1000,  a  RADIUS  request  is  retransmitted  to  a  
server   that   is   not   responding.   If   the   server   has   not   responded   after   the   last   retransmit,   it   is  
considered   t o   b e   d ead.    
Deadtime  
Deadtime,  which  can  be  set  to  a  number  between  0  to  1440  minutes,  is  the  period  during  which  
the   s witch   w ill   n ot   s end   n ew   r equests   t o   a   s erver   t hat   h as   f ailed   t o   r espond   t o   a   p revious   r equest.  
This  will  stop  the  switch  from  continually  trying  to  contact  a  server  that  it  has  already  determined  
as  dead.  Setting  the  Deadtime  to  a  value  greater  than  0  (zero)  will  enable  this  feature,  but  only  if  
more   t han   o ne   s erver   h as   b een   c onfigured.

NAS-­‐IP-­‐Address   ( Attribute   4 )  
The   IPv4   address   to   be   used   as   attribute   4   in   RADIUS   Access-­‐Request   packets.   If   this   field   is   left  
blank,   t he   I P   a ddress   o f   t he   o utgoing   i nterface   i s   u sed.    
NAS-­‐IPv6-­‐Address   ( Attribute   9 5)  
The  IPv6  address  to  be  used  as  attribute  95  in  RADIUS  Access-­‐Request  packets.  If  this  field  is  left  
blank,   t he   I P   a ddress   o f   t he   o utgoing   i nterface   i s   u sed.    
 
NAS-­‐Identifier   ( Attribute   3 2)  
The   identifier—up   to   255   characters   long—to   be   used   as   attribute   32   in   RADIUS   Access-­‐Request  
packets.   I f   t his   f ield   i s   l eft   b lank,   t he   N AS-­‐Identifier   i s   n ot   i ncluded   i n   t he   p acket.

Delete

Hostname  
The   I P   a ddress   o r   h ostname   o f   t he   R ADIUS   s erver.    
Auth   P ort  
The   U DP   p ort   t o   u se   o n   t he   R ADIUS   s erver   f or   a uthentication.    
Acct   P ort  
The   U DP   p ort   t o   u se   o n   t he   R ADIUS   s erver   f or   a ccounting.    
Timeout  
This   o ptional   s etting   o verrides   t he   g lobal   t imeout   v alue.   L eaving   i t   b lank   w ill   u se   t he   g lobal   t imeout  
value.    
Retransmit  
This   optional   setting   overrides   the   global   retransmit   value.   Leaving   it   blank   will   use   the   global  
retransmit   v alue.    
Key  
This   o ptional   s etting   o verrides   t he   g lobal   k ey.   L eaving   i t   b lank   w ill   u se   t he   g lobal   k ey.
