This section is used for running the VeriPHY Cable Diagnostics. Press to run the diagnostics. This will
take a pproximately 5 s econds. I f a ll p orts a re s elected, t his c an t ake a pproximately 1 5 s econds. W hen
completed, the page refreshes automatically, and you can view the cable diagnostics results in the
cable status table. Note that VeriPHY is only accurate for cables of length 7–140 meters. 10 and 100
Mbps ports will be linked down while running VeriPHY. Therefore, running VeriPHY on a 10 or 100
Mbps m anagement p ort w ill c ause t he s witch t o s top r esponding u ntil V eriPHY i s c omplete.
