
Control w hether a p ort e xplicitly c onfigured a s E dge w ill t ransmit a nd r eceive B PDUs.
Edge P ort B PDU G uard:

Control whether a port explicitly configured as Edge will disable itself upon reception of a BPDU.
The p ort w ill e nter t he e rror-­‐disabled s tate, a nd w ill b e r emoved f rom t he a ctive t opology.
Port E rror R ecovery:

Control whether a port in the error-­‐disabled state automatically will be enabled after a certain
time. I f r ecovery i s n ot e nabled, p orts h ave t o b e d isabled a nd r e-­‐enabled f or n ormal S TP o peration.
The c ondition i s a lso c leared b y a s ystem r eboot.
