3-­‐8.2 P ort S tatus
After you complete the STP configuration, you can ask the switch to display the STP Port Status. This
section explains how to display the STP CIST port status for physical ports of the currently selected
switch.
Web I nterface
To d isplay t he S TP P ort s tatus i n t he w eb i nterface:
1. Click M onitor, S panning T ree, S TP P ort S tatus.
2. If y ou w ant t o a uto-­‐refresh t he i nformation, s elect " Auto-­‐refresh".
3. Click " R efresh" t o r efresh t he S TP B ridges.

Parameter d escription:
Port:

The s witch p ort n umber o f t he l ogical S TP p ort.
CIST R ole:

The current STP port role of the CIST port. The port role can be one of the following values:
AlternatePort, B ackup P ort, R ootPort, D esignatedPort, D isabled.
CIST S tate:

The current STP port state of the CIST port. The port state can be one of the following values:
Blocking, L earning, F orwarding.
Uptime

The t ime s ince t he b ridge p ort w as l ast i nitialized.
Buttons

Auto-­‐refresh: Check this box to refresh the page automatically. Automatic refresh occurs every 3
seconds.
Refresh: C lick t o r efresh t he p age.
