Mode:

Indicates the Voice VLAN mode operation. Disable MSTP before you enable Voice VLAN to avoid

VLAN I D:


Aging T ime:

Indicates t he V oice V LAN s ecure l earning a ging t ime. T he a llowed r ange i s 1 0 t o 1 0000000 s econds.
It is used when security mode or auto detect mode is enabled. In other cases, it will be based on
hardware a ging t ime. T he a ctual a ging t ime w ill b e s ituated b etween t he [ age_time; 2 * a ge_time]
interval.
Traffic C lass:

Indicates t he V oice V LAN t raffic c lass. T his c lass w ill a pply t o a ll t raffic o n t he V oice V LAN.
Port M ode:

Indicates t he V oice V LAN p ort m ode.
When the port mode isn't equal to disabled, we must disable the MSTP feature before we enable
Voice V LAN t o a void a n i ngress f iltering c onflict.
Possible p ort m odes a re:
Disabled: D isjoin f rom V oice V LAN.
Auto: Enable auto detect mode. This detects whether there is a VoIP phone attached to the
specific p ort a nd c onfigures t he V oice V LAN m embers a utomatically.
Forced: F orce j oin t o V oice V LAN.
Port S ecurity:

Indicates the Voice VLAN port security mode. When the function is enabled, all non-­‐telephonic
MAC a ddresses i n t he V oice V LAN w ill b e b locked f or 1 0 s econds. P ossible p ort m odes a re:
Enabled: E nable V oice V LAN s ecurity m ode o peration.
Disabled: D isable V oice V LAN s ecurity m ode o peration.
Port D iscovery P rotocol:

Indicates the Voice VLAN port discovery protocol. It will only work when auto detect mode is
enabled. Enable LLDP before configuring discovery protocol to "LLDP" or "Both." Changing the
discovery protocol to "OUI" or "LLDP" will restart the auto detect process. Possible discovery
protocols a re:
OUI: D etect t elephony d evice b y O UI a ddress.
LLDP: D etect t elephony d evice b y L LDP.
Both: B oth O UI a nd L LDP.
