Step 6.
Install the screw to secure the power cut-off switch assembly on the chassis wall.
Step 7.
Connect the cable along the chassis to the system board (see "Internal cable routing and
connectors" on page 33).
Step 8.
Reinstall the air baffle (see "Replacing the air baffle" on page 189).
Step 9.
Install and lock the left-side cover (see "Installing the left-side cover" on page 183).
If you have replaced a server component or installed an optional device in the server, you need to reconnect
the power cords and all external cables, and turn on the server and peripheral devices.

Removing and replacing Tier 2 CRUs

You may install a Tier 2 CRU yourself or request Lenovo to install it, at no additional charge, under the type
of warranty service that is designated for your server.
The illustrations in this document might differ slightly from your hardware.
Removing the power paddle card
Use this information to remove the power paddle card.
Read the safety information in "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on page 29.
If you are replacing a server component in the server, you need to turn off the server and peripheral devices,
and disconnect the power cords and all external cables.
To remove the power paddle card, complete the following steps.
Step 1.
Carefully turn the server on its side so that it is lying flat, with the cover facing up.
Attention: Do not allow the server to fall over.
Step 2.
Unlock and remove the left-side cover (see "Removing the left-side cover" on page 182).
Step 3.
Remove the air baffle (see "Removing the air baffle" on page 188).
Step 4.
Remove all PCIe cards from the system board.
Step 5.
Remove the fan cage assembly (see "Removing the fan cage assembly" on page 261),
