Step 6.
Install one drive retainer clip only on the left side of the tape drive as shown in the following
illustration. For the part number of the drive retainer clip, see "Structural parts" on page 174.

Step 7.
Follow the instructions that come with the drive to set jumpers or switches, if there are any.
Note: You might find it easier to install the new drive from the front and then attach the cables.
Step 8.
Align the tape drive with the drive bay; then, slide the tape drive into the drive bay until it clicks
into place.

Step 9.
Connect the power and signal cables to the drive and the connectors on the system board (see
"Internal cable routing and connectors" on page 33 for more information).
Step 10. Close the bezel (see "Installing the bezel" on page 186).
Step 11. Install and lock the left-side cover (see "Installing the left-side cover" on page 183).
