Step 7.
Rotate the operator information panel assembly to the server chassis until clicks into place.
Step 8.
Connect the operator information panel assembly cable to the system board (see "System-board
internal connectors" on page 25 and "Internal cable routing and connectors" on page 33).
Step 9.
Reinstall the DVD drive (see "Installing a DVD drive" on page 207 and "Installing an optional tape
drive" on page 211) which you removed before in drive bay 1.
Step 10. Connect the drive cables to the back of the drive bay 1.
Step 11. Reinstall the fan cage assembly (see "Installing the fan cage assembly" on page 262).
Step 12. Reinstall the air baffle (see "Replacing the air baffle" on page 189).
Step 13. Close the bezel (see "Replacing the air baffle" on page 189).
Step 14. Close and lock the left-side cover (see "Installing the left-side cover" on page 183).
If you have replaced a server component or installed an optional device in the server, you need to reconnect
the power cords and all external cables, and turn on the server and peripheral devices.

Removing a memory module

Use this information to remove a memory module.
Read the safety information in "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on page 29.
If you are replacing a server component in the server, you need to turn off the server and peripheral devices,
and disconnect the power cords and all external cables.
To remove a dual inline memory module (DIMM), complete the following steps.
Step 1.
Carefully turn the server on its side so that it is lying flat, with the cover facing up.
Attention: Do not allow the server to fall over.
