Note: Make sure that none of the server cables are caught under the system board.
Step 4.

Step 5.
Install any of the following components that you removed from the system board:
• Microprocessor and heat sink (see "Installing a microprocessor and heat sink" on page 276)
• DIMMs (see "Installing a DIMM" on page 257)
• Adapters (see "Installing an adapter" on page 216)
• System battery (see "Installing the system battery" on page 228)
• Hypervisor (see "Installing a USB embedded hypervisor flash device" on page 260)
Step 6.
Reconnect any cables to the system board that you disconnected during removal (see
"System-board internal connectors" on page 25 and "Internal cable routing and connectors" on
page 33).
Step 7.
Install the fan cage assembly (see "Installing the fan cage assembly" on page 262).
Step 8.
Install the air baffle (see "Replacing the air baffle" on page 189).
Step 9.
Install and lock the left-side cover (see "Installing the left-side cover" on page 183).
Step 10. Reconnect the external cables and power cords; then, turn on the attached devices and turn on
the server.
Step 11. Start the Setup utility and reset the configuration.
