2.1.3 Configuration of a machine for 5-axis transformation
To ensure that the 5-axis transformation can convert the programmed values to axis
motions, certain information about the mechanical design of the machine is required; this
information is stored in machine data:
• Machine type
• Axis assignment
• Geometry information
• Assignment of direction of rotation
