HTTP Configuration

The HTTP service provides access to filesystems using the HTTP and HTTPS protocols and
the HTTP extension WebDAV (Web based Distributed Authoring and Versioning). This service
allows clients to access shared filesystems through a web browser, or as a local filesystem if
supported by the client software. The URL to access these HTTP and HTTPS shares have the
following formats respectively:

FTP Logs
Description
Allow FTP logins for the root user. This is off by default,
since FTP authentication is plain text which poses a
security risk from network sniffing attack.
The number of failed login attempts before an FTP
connection is disconnected, and the user must reconnect
to try again. The default is 3.
Permits foreign FTP connections to enable direct transfer
of files between FTP servers. This property is off by
default.
Description
Logs FTP events, including successful logins and
unsuccessful login attempts.
File transfer log.
Logs FTP events related to SSL/TLS encryption.
