TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
SYMPTOM
Torque converter does not shift
smoothly (continued).
Engine won't stop running.
Low oil warning light stays on.
Hour meter does not function.
Hour meter adds increments with key
switch ON and engine not running.
Front differential does not engage front
wheels.
10-amp fuse blows repeatedly.
25-amp fuse blows repeatedly.
Starter motor engages when key switch
is in the ON position.
Engine can be started while Forward/
Reverse handle is in the FOWARD or
REVERSE position.
Bed lift does not function

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Driven clutch malfunction
Governor is sticking
Kill circuit wire is disconnected from the
ignition coil
Key switch failure
Oil level sensor failure
Shorted wire harness wire(s)
Failed low oil warning light or oil pressure
sensor
Oil pressure switch failed closed
Failed hour meter
Oil pressure switch failed open
Failed front drive gearcase engagement
coil
Failed differential relay
Neutral switch failure (failed closed)
Failed front gearcase
Diode 1 failed closed
Diode 6 failed closed
Diode 7 failed closed
