Loosen the fo rk top pinch
bolts.
When
the fork is ready to be disassembled, remove
the handleba
r and
loosen the fork
cap,
but do
not
remove
it
.
CAUTION:
Do not use a
ere.Cfmt
or adjustable wrench
to
loosen the fork
cap;
they could btl
damaged.
When di$8ssembling the fork
leg,
record the
number of clicks
to
hardest position then turn
thB rebound adjuster and compression adjuster
counterclockwise to the
softest
position to
prevent damage the
needle.
Loosen the fork bottom pinch bolts and pull the fork
leg down and
out.
DISASSEMBLY
Clean the fork
assembly,
especially
th
e sliding
surface of the fork slider and bottom of
t
he slider
around the center bolt before
disassemb
ling the fork.
CAUTION:

careful not to
scra
tch the slider and not
to
damage the dust
$8al.
Hold the outer
tube,
remove the fork cap from the
outer tube
and
slide the
outer
tube down to the dust
seal on the axle
holder.
