FUEL TANK
Gasoline

extremely fJammable and
is
explosive
under certain conditions. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF
CHILDREN.
FUEL FILTER MAINTENANCE
Drain the fuel from fuel tank into an approved
gasoline container.
Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel valve.
Remove the bolts, collars and fuel valve.
Wash the fuel filter in high flash point cleaning sol-
vent.
Check the O-ring is in good condition, install it onto
the fuel valve.
Aftsr installation,
Install the fuel valve in the reverse order of removal.
make sure there
are no fue/leaks.
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the seat (page 2-2).
Remove the radiator shrouds (page 2-3).
Turn the fuel valve OFF, and disconnect the fuel line.
Remove the fuel tank mounting bolt, unhook the
band and remove the fuel tank.
Afterinsraliarion,
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
make sure there
are no 'ue/leaks.
Install the breather hose into the stem nut as shown.
