REAR WHEEL/SUSPENSION
Install the rear brake caliper to the slide rail on the CALIPER
~RAC:KET
swingarm.
CAUTION:
Do not twist the brake hose.
2000-2001: Install the brake hose gu ides.
Install and tighten the screws to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 1.2 N· m (0.12 kgf·m,
O.87Ibfoft)
After 2001:
InSlaUthe brake hose guide.

Tighten the screw to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 1.2 N·m 10.12 kgfom, O.87Ibf.tt)
Apply oil to t he shock arm nut (swingarm side)
threads and seating surface.
Instal l the shock arm bolt and nut.
Tighten the nut to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 78 N.m (8.0 kgf-m, 58 IbMt)
Install the rear wheel (page 12-8).
