FUSE INSPECTION
FUSE INSPECTION
The following procedure applies to all of the
fuses.
CAUTION:
To avoid a short circuit, always set the main
switch to "OFF" when checking or replacing
a fuse.
1. Inspect:
S Continuity
Inspection steps:
S Connect the pocket tester to the fuse and
check the continuity.
NOTE:
Set the pocket tester selector to "Ω
Pocket tester:
90890-03112, YU-03112
S If the pocket tester indicates "∞", replace the
fuse.
2. Replace:
S Blown fuse
Replacing steps:
S Set the main switch to "OFF".
S Install a new fuse of the correct amperage.
S Set the main switch to "ON" and verify if the
electrical circuit is operational.
S If the fuse immediately blows again, check the
electrical circuit.
