DRIVE CHAIN HOUSING
INSTALLATION
1. During installation, pay attention to the fol-
lowing.
A Make sure that the bearing seals face towards
the drive chain as shown.
B Properly install the rubber seal onto the drive
chain housing, making sure that there are no
gaps.
C C C Be sure to install the spacers in their

original positions, otherwise the brake
disc and jackshaft will stick.
D 0.2 X 0.7 mm (0.008 X 0.028 in)
: ESSO beacon 325 grease or Aeroshell
grease #7A
For the jackshaft and drive chain housing instal-
lation, refer to "SECONDARYSHAFT".
2. Fill:
S Drive chain housing oil
Refer to "DRIVE CHAIN" in CHAPTER 2.
3. Adjust:
S Drive chain slack
Refer to "DRIVE CHAIN" in CHAPTER 2.
