Use site readiness checklists to prepare the installation site for reception of new HP StoreAll hardware
equipment.

Requirement
If a couplet was ordered, was a rack ordered?
If a new rack was not ordered, is the existing rack compatible with the
equipment ordered?
If applicable, are there sufficient and available ports on IP network switches to
support the connections needed for IP networks (for example, user, cluster, and
administrator)?
Is on-site re-racking of a system that was shipped in a rack required?
NOTE: Order the applicable HP Care Pack for each system requiring
re-racking.
To access PDUs in the rack, the side panels must be accessible. Is space planned
for this requirement?
Along the delivery pathway from the receiving dock to the equipment's final
placement in the datacenter:
a. Is the required installation space reserved in the data center for the ordered
equipment?
b. Will all of the doors, including elevators (if used), accommodate delivered
equipment?
c. Does the maximum load capacity of any elevators to be used, if any, support
equipment weight?
d. Does the pathway (such as doors, hallways, and so forth) accommodate
equipment dimensions and weight?
e. Is the final rack location in the datacenter able to accommodate equipment
dimensions and weight?
Is the datacenter power delivered out of the floor or from overhead?
Does your datacenter use single phase or 3-phase distribution power?
Is a dedicated power source, with a correct outlet connector, available?
To ensure that HP StoreAll Storage redundancy is preserved, does the datacenter
have a second circuit to provide redundant power?
Is the power source backed up by a generator or UPS?
Are temperature, humidity, and airborne contamination at the installation site
controlled to match equipment requirements?
Has an IP network diagram been provided in the HP StoreAll Configuration
Questionnaire (SCQ)?
