Example response when the cabling set up has been successful:
SUCCESS: The SAS cables are connected and configured properly.
Example response when the cabling set up has been unsuccessful:
ERROR: The Controller in the PCI Slot 4 of this node could not see the peer controller.
Ensure that the peer controller is in a healthy state.
ERROR: Port 1 of I/O Module Slot A of Drawer 1 of the D6000 attached to the Controller in the PCI Slot 4 is
either not completely connected or not connected at all.
Ensure that the connections conform to the supported configuration and that the connections are fully seated.
ERROR: Port 2 of I/O Module Slot B of Drawer 2 of the D6000 attached to the Controller in the PCI Slot 4 is
either not completely connected or not connected at all.
Ensure that the connections conform to the supported configuration and that the connections are fully seated.

Power on

After cabling verification, HP recommends that you power on your system before continuing on to
install the HP StoreAll OS software.
1.
Power on the disk enclosures. Wait for the enclosures to fully power on and check for green
status indicators.

Power on the servers (make sure the storage devices are turned on first).
