BSR 64000 Command Reference Guide

snmp-server enable informs

The snmp-server enable informs command enables SNMP informs. The no
snmp-server enable informs disables SNMP informs.
The snmp-server enable informs command enables SNMP informs and allows this
SNMP management station to send SNMP informs to hosts configured using the
snmp-server host informs command.
The snmp-server host command identifies the host or hosts to receive SNMP
informs. For the SNMP managenment station to send informs, at least one
SNMP-server host must be configured. Both commands should be enabled.
The no snmp-server enable informs command disables sending inform notification
messages from this SNMP management station. For a host to receive an inform, an
snmp-server host informs command must be configured for that host, and the inform
must be enabled globally through the use of the snmp-server enable informs
command.
