XML Beep Support

The IP phones have a feature that allows you to enable or disable a beep on the phone when it
receives a status message from an XML application. This beep can be turned ON or OFF using the
Aastra Web UI, the configuration files, or in an XML script. If you disable this feature, then no
beep is heard when the XML application arrives to the phone.
If your System Administrator has set a value for this feature in a custom XML application or in the
configuration files, the value you set in the Aastra Web UI overrides the Administrator's setting.
Setting and saving the value in the Aastra Web UI applies to the phone immediately.
