To disable the multiple spanning tree protocol on the interface, use the no spanning-
tree command.

Configure multiple spanning tree instance cost and priority for an interface.
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, S4810
Syntax
spanning-tree msti instance {cost cost | priority priority}
Parameters
msti
cost
Enter the keywords spanning-tree to enable the MSTP on the
interface.
Introduced on the Z9000.
Introduced on the S4810.
Introduced on the S-Series.
Introduced on the C-Series.
Introduced on the E-Series.
instance
Enter the keyword msti and the MST instance number. The range is
zero (0) to 63.
cost
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword cost followed by the port cost value.
The range is 1 to 200000. The defaults are:
100 Mb/s Ethernet interface = 200000
1-Gigabit Ethernet interface = 20000
10-Gigabit Ethernet interface = 2000
Port Channel interface with one 100 Mb/s Ethernet = 200000
Port Channel interface with one 1-Gigabit Ethernet = 20000
