This section describes the spanning tree protocol (STP) commands available in the
7200RS Series Stackable Switch CLI. STP helps prevent network loops, duplicate
messages, and network instability.
The STP Commands section includes the following topics:
Section 5.1 "STP Configuration Commands" on page 1
Section 5.2 "STP Show Commands" on page 10
The commands in this section are in one of two functional groups:
Show commands display switch settings, statistics, and other information.
Configuration commands configure features and options of the switch. For every
configuration command, there is a show command that displays the configuration
setting.
