ip igmp static-group

The ip igmp static-group interface configuration command configures the router to be a statically
connected member of the specified group on the interface. To remove the router as a member of
the group, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
ip igmp static-group group-address
no ip igmp static-group group-address
group-address—IP Multicast address of a group to which the router belongs.
Default Configuration
The router is not a member of a group.
Command Mode
Interface configuration (Ethernet, VLAN, port-channel)
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example configures the router to be a statically connected member of the specified
group on port g5 with IP address 224.0.0.0.
Console (config)# interface ethernet g5
Console (config-if)# ip igmp static-group 224.0.0.0

show ip mroute

The show ip mroute user EXEC command displays the IP Multicast routing table contents.
Syntax
show ip mroute [group group-address] [source source-address] [ethernet interface-number |
vlan vlan-id | port-channel number]
group group-address—Multicast group IP address.
source source-address—The source IP address.
ethernet interface-number—Ethernet port number.
vlan vlan-id—VLAN number.
port-channel number—Port-channel number.
