Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting the HDX
Introduction
On the Symposium Call Center Server, the CLAN network adapter must be
named before the ELAN adapter in the Network settings; otherwise, the
Symposium Web Center Portal HDX service may fail to connect.
The Symposium Web Center Portal HDX tries to connect to the Symposium
Call Center Server three times. If you cannot connect to the Symposium Call
Center Server, confirm your HDX client settings and verify your Symposium
Call Center Server settings. For more information about Symposium Call Center
Server, refer to your Symposium Call Center Server documentation.
To verify the CLAN settings on your Symposium Call Center Server
system
Choose Start ➝ Settings ➝ Network and Dialup Connections.
1
From the Advanced Menu, choose Advanced Settings ➝ Adapters and
2
Bindings.
3
Ensure that the network card corresponding to the CLAN is listed before
that of the ELAN.
4
Highlight the protocol you want to move, and click the Up and Down arrows
as necessary.
5
If you make any changes, you must restart the server. For more
information, refer to your Symposium Call Center Server documentation.
