To configure the HDX Client
From the Windows Start menu, choose Programs ➝ Nortel Networks ➝

Symposium Web Center Portal ➝ Portal Server ➝ Host Data Exchange
Configurator.
Result: The HDX Client Configuration window appears.
2 Ensure the SCCS Sitename box contains the site name of the Symposium
Call Center Server exactly as it is defined in Symposium Web Center
Portal. This box is case-sensitive.
3 Ensure the SCCS Servername box contains the host name of the
Symposium Call Center Server.
4 You can configure the Port box as per the details in the properties file from
Symposium Call Center Server SU09 onwards.
The Provider ID is a script-defined variable. It must be unique. If a customer
is using other HDX clients (Symposium Web Center Portal or otherwise),
each client must be registered with its own ID, and HDX messages must be
sent to the appropriate script. For more information, refer to the Symposium
Web Center Portal Scripting information in the Nortel Networks Symposium
Call Center Server Scripting Guide.
The Default Character box contains the value returned by the client if a
particular piece of information is unavailable.
