Configuring Symposium Web Center Portal for e-mail and telephony integration

Click the plus sign (+) beside Local Policies, and then click User Rights
Assignment.

Click Local Policies.

Double-click Logon as a service.

Add the newly created account to this policy.

Click OK.
From the Windows Start menu, choose Programs ➝ Administrative Tools

➝ Services.

Right-click the SWCP Dynamic Transaction Handler service, and then click
Properties.

Set the Startup Type to "automatic."

Click the Log On tab.

Click This Account, and then add the new user account to the domain.
a. Browse to the account you just created.
Note: You must have a password for this account.
b. Reenter the account password for this account, and then click Apply.
c. Click OK.
Note: Make sure no domain policy overrides this policy.
ATTENTION

You must assign TAPI lines to the new account you created. For more
information, refer to your TAPI documentation (Network Managers Guide
for Symposium TAPI Service Provider for Succession 3.0
To run TCMSETUP
The computer on which the DTH is installed (Symposium Web Center Portal
server) must be TAPI-enabled. You must run TCMSETUP on this computer. For
more information, refer to "Symposium Web Center Portal telephony
components" on page 541.

Do not use the TAPI lines assigned to the DTH for any other
telephony service. Only use these lines for outbound calls.
These lines cannot accept calls.
