Customizing the Customer Interface
Customizing the Customer Interface for Web
Communications
Introduction
This section provides information about the different web pages that make up
the Sample Customer Interface and Web Communications components. You can
modify the look of these web pages.
ATTENTION
Guidelines for customizing the Customer Interface and Web
Communications
Keep in mind the following guidelines when you are customizing the Customer
Interface and Web Communications components:
A Web Communications (Text Chat) request must be immediate; it cannot
!
be scheduled.
The Web Communications confirmation page and Web On Hold display
!
pages must be in two different browser windows. The Web On Hold display
window should contain a scroll bar and be resizable, but it should not
contain the toolbar so that the web user cannot wander out of the
displayed page.
If required, the request for Text Chat page should be remembered and
!
passed to WebCollab.JoinConnection. This page then appears when the
agent services the Text Chat to indicate on which page the web user is
requesting Text Chat.
The web user who requested Text Chat should be advised if no agent is
!
logged on to the requested skillset.

You must not change any scripts or forms in a page.
