Continue with the next procedure to edit the db.properties page.
To edit the db.properties file

Navigate to the db.properties file.

Open the db.properties file in Notepad.
Result: A window like the one below appears:

Ensure that all the information in the file is correct (database name
[SWCP_DB], database server [the host name of your Portal server], and
database port number [5005]).
Note: You must change the default host name of the database server to the
host name of your database server.

Edit the file as necessary, and then save your changes.
