Email Manager checklist

Steps
Ensure you installed and configured your e-mail server. For more
information, refer to your e-mail server documentation.
Ensure you installed the Portal Server. For more information, refer to
"Installing the Portal Server component" on page 85.
Ensure you installed the Portal Administrator. For more information,
refer to "Installing the Portal Administrator component" on page
102.
Ensure you configured the DTH. For more information, refer to
"Configuring the DTH for TAPI" on page 195.
Configure the Symposium Web Center Portal Email Manager. For
more information, see "Configuring e-mail for Symposium Web
Center Portal" on page 229.
Configure a default rule and a delivery failure rule. For more
information, refer to "Symposium Web Center Portal Rules
Administration" on page 267.
Note: If you do not configure a delivery failure rule you may receive
e-mail loops due to the undeliverable e-mail being auto-replied.
Start the Email Manager service and set the service to start
automatically. For more information, refer to "Running the
Symposium Email Manager" on page 259.
