Customizing the Customer Interface
user will be put on Web On Hold. The JavaScript WebOnHold() opens a new
window and calls the Web Communications URL, as specified in the
application's web.xml deployment descriptor. This window displays the Web On
Hold URLs.
Adding links to other pages
At the bottom of most files, there are links to other JSP pages. The links are
described in the following table:
Function
Submit a Request
View Transaction History
Update Account Details
Logout
Handling unregistered users
A web site does not always require that a customer log on to submit a
transaction. It may require the user to enter his or her personal details, the nature
of his or her query, and the preferred callback method only. The
InsertTransAndCust.jsp page is designed to handle such a request. This page is
similar to the InsertTrans.jsp page. Like InsertTrans.jsp, it takes in parameters,
formats the parameters, and stores the data in the database. The following
information is required:
skillset
!
query text or objective
!
preferred callback media type – phone, e-mail, or Text Chat
!
preferred callback time
!
The parameters listed below are obtained in the form and passed to the
InsertTrans.jsp page for further processing:

/swcp-ci/TransHist.jsp
/swcp-ci/
