The Symposium Web Center Portal Release 4.0 increased database capacity
activity now supports up to 2400 transactions per hour in a multimedia center
with a maximum of 300 agents. For more information about the database

Network configuration
You can install Symposium Web Center Portal Release 4.0/SU05 as part of a
networked environment.
New Sample Customer Interface and Web Communications
installation
Symposium Web Center Portal Release 4.0/SU05 installs the Sample Customer
Interface and Web Communications components together; however, you can
only use the Web Communications component if you have purchased the license
to activate it. For more information about licenses, contact your distributor.
IIS Lockdown
Symposium Web Center Portal Release 4.0/SU05 supports IIS Lockdown to
provide additional security features to an IIS server, such as the Portal server. IIS
works by turning off unnecessary features, such as the news service or file
transfer service, thereby reducing potential IIS attack points.
