Disconnecting Mobile Devices from Wi-Fi Direct Network
Disconnecting connections with mobile devices from the menu of this machine

At the [Device] > [Connectivity & Network Setup] > [Wireless LAN Settings] > [Wi-Fi Direct Settings] menu,
change [SSID Suffix] or [Passphrase].
The connection with mobile devices is disconnected because the Wi-Fi Direct group was reconfigured by a new SSID
and passphrase.
Disconnecting with this machine using the Wi-Fi settings screen of a connected mobile device

On the mobile device, open the Wi-Fi settings screen, and then disconnect the Wi-Fi connection.
When automatic connection is enabled on the mobile device:
The mobile device will reconnect with Wi-Fi Direct of this machine automatically, even if the Wi-Fi connection is
disconnected. Therefore, the mobile device may connect automatically before the connection of a new mobile
device erroneously or the connection upper limit may be reached again erroneously. In such cases, either disable the
automatic connection of the mobile device or delete the setting information in Step 2.
When automatic connection is off on the mobile device:
If the Wi-Fi connection is disconnected, the connection remains disconnected until it is reconnected from the Wi-Fi
settings screen of the mobile device.
Note

It may not be possible to switch the automatic connection setting depending on your mobile device.

On the mobile device, open the Wi-Fi settings screen, select the SSID of the machine currently connected, and
then delete the Wi-Fi connection setting information stored on the mobile device.
Disconnecting all mobile devices from the menu of this machine

Browse to [Device] > [Information & Reports] > [Wireless LAN Status], and then tap [Disconnect from Wi-Fi
Direct].
