Connecting the Machine to Mobile Devices

You can connect a smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device to this machine and print documents, photos, web
pages, emails, and other data.
Connect this machine to your mobile devices with one of the following methods.

Wi-Fi connection
Connect this machine and your mobile devices via a wireless LAN access point.

Wi-Fi Direct connection
Connect this machine and your mobile devices directly without a wireless LAN access point.

Connecting via a Wi-Fi Network

Setting up the Machine

Confirm that the machine connects to an access point or wireless router.

Setting up Mobile Devices

 The setting procedure depends on the mobile devices you use. For details, refer to the instruction manual of your mobile
device.

Turn on the Wi-Fi function of the mobile device.

Select the SSID.

Follow the screen instructions to complete the connection.

 In some cases, the encryption key required to connect may be written on the wireless LAN access point unit. For details,
refer to the instruction manual of the access point or wireless router.

machine administrator.
