[Print Universal Unique ID]
You can print IDs (UUID) to enable identification of jobs for each print job.
Using ApeosWare Management Suite 2 (sold separately) and the image log control feature is effective for limiting
data leaks because you can search the logs using an UUID as a keyword to check, for example, whether each job
was printed, when, and by whom.
Refer
For more information about the image logs, refer to "[Image Log Control]" (P.111).

[Print Position (Side 2)]

Image log control saves documents of jobs run on this machine as image data and stores and manages them as
logs along with the job users, usage times, number of copies, and other data. Information is saved to identify the
user that ran the job for the document when a document has been leaked.
Note
Because Image log control is intended to supplement security features for documents, the creation of the image log may
take time, and the processing of jobs not subject to Image log control may take time.
For security, this machine cannot cancel (force quit) the creation of an image log to prioritize the storing and saving of
data.
For example, if the power is cut forcibly due to a power outage or other cause, or if a problem has occurred with storage,
the image log is not always created and/or transferred.
Because they are created based on input images, managed images are not always the same as output images. The
following information is not applied to images because the information is added or edited during output.
- Layout changes during output
- Watermark
- Inserts
- Banners
- Annotations
- Form overlays (printing)
Up to a maximum of 8191 pages of images can be created. When there are 8191 pages or more of entered images on
the machine, up to 8191 pages of images are created even if [All Pages] is set under [Image Log Generation]>[Page
Range].
If there is not enough image storage area in the storage, this machine runs according to the [Image Log Generation] >
[Assurance Level] setting.
- [High]: The job is canceled.
- [Low]: The job is run. However, a warning appears reporting that image creation failed when the job ends.
If an error occurred during image creation, this machine runs according to the [Image Log Generation] > [Assurance
Level] setting.
- [High]: The image is replaced with an error image (1x1 pixel), and a system error is issued. Turn off the machine, make
sure that the touch panel display is off, and then turn on the machine.
- [Low]: The image is replaced with an error image (1x1 pixel), and error information is recorded when the job ends.
