Configuring email receiving
1.
Tap the display area of authentication information at the top left of the Home screen, and then login as a
machine administrator.
2.
Tap [Device].
3.
Start the e-mail port.
1)
Tap [Connectivity & Network Setup]>[Port Settings]>[Receive Email]>[Port Status].
2)
Tap [Enabled].
Note
To use e-mail notifications and job completion notifications, browse to [Email Notification Service], and then similarly
configure [Port Status] to [Enabled].
3)
Tap [<] to return to the [Connectivity & Network Setup] screen.
4.
Configure the receiving protocol.
1)
Tap [Other Settings] > [Protocol to Receive Email].
2)
Tap either [SMTP] or [POP3].
3)
Tap [<] to return to the [Connectivity & Network Setup] screen.
5.
Configure the email address of this machine.
1)
Tap [Device's Email Address / Host Name].
2)
Configure the email address and host name.

Tap [<] to return to the [Connectivity & Network Setup] screen.
6.
Configure the receiving settings.
1)
Tap [Outgoing / Incoming Email Settings].
When [Protocol to Receive Email] is configured to [SMTP], configure the SMTP server.

For the settings of the machine email address when performing SMTP reception, refer to "[Device's Email Address / Host
Name]" (P.126).
When [Protocol to Receive Email] is configured to [POP3], configure the POP3 server.
Note
If POP over SSL is ON in the POP 3 server settings, email reception is encrypted. You can configure POP over SSL using
CentreWare Internet Services.
