1.
Check the sample and measure the amount of deviation (mm) in the squareness of the image.
Use the following equation to find the amount of deviation of the squareness. A is the length (mm) of the lead regi
on the left side, and B is the length (mm) of the lead regi on the right side when the lead edge of the paper at the
top.
Amount of deviation of squareness (mm) = (A - B) × (paper length of vertical scanning direction - 20) ÷ (paper width
of horizontal scanning direction (mm) -20)
2.
Tap [Perpendicularity].
3.
Enter a result of adding the offset amount measured in Step 1 to the current setting value.
To correct a parallelogram slanting down to the right or left to a rectangle when the lead edge of the paper at the
top, enter the adjustment value by pressing "-" or "+", respectively.
4.
Press [Save].
5.
Tap [Adjust].
The adjustment value is applied.
6.
Tap [Sample Printout], and then check the adjustment result of the output sample. Adjust again if necessary.
Adjusting the vertical scanning direction zoom ratio
Adjust the zoom of the output image of the vertical scanning direction (form feed direction) by increments of
0.025%.
1.
Check the sample and measure the amount of deviation (mm) in the image length of the vertical scanning
direction.
Amount of deviation (mm) of the image length of the vertical scanning direction = image length (mm) of the
vertical scanning direction - (paper width (mm) of vertical scanning direction -20)
