[LDAP Referrals]
Configure whether to reconnect to the specified server when a connection to another LDAP server was specified
from the connected LDAP server.
[LDAP Referral Hop Limit]
Configure how many switches of the connection server are permitted when using the referral function.
[SMB Server Settings]
Configure when using an SMB server as an external authentication server.
[SMB Server Setup]
The server specification method can be configured from [By Domain Name] and [By Domain & Server Names / IP
Address].
Configure the following settings for SMB Server 1 through 5 individually to match the specification method
configured here.
The content configured for SMB Server 1 is used as the default during authentication.
[SMB Server 1 (Default)] to [SMB Server 5]
[Domain Name]
Configure the domain name of the server.
A domain name setting is required regardless of the specification method of the SMB server configured by [SMB
Server Setup].
Note
For the domain name, specify the NetBIOS domain name or active directory domain name.
[Server Name / IP Address]
Specify the server name or IP address of the server.
Note
For the server name, specify the NetBIOS computer name or full computer name with DNS suffix.
[Security Settings]
[SSL/TLS Settings]
Configure when encrypting communication between a server or client computer and this machine.
[Device Certificate - Server]
Configure the server certificate for SSL/TLS communication.
[HTTP - SSL/TLS Communication]
Set whether or not to only allow the use of SSL/TLS communications.
Note
When set to [Enable HTTPS Only], the [UPnP Discovery] and [WSD] ports stop.
[HTTP - SSL/TLS Port Number]
Configure the port number for SSL/TLS communication.
Note
Do not use a number that is being used by another port.
[SMTP - SSL/TLS Communication]
Configure the SSL/TLS communication settings.
[ThinPrint - SSL/TLS Communication]
Configure whether to turn on SSL/TLS communication.
