[Watermark]
Watermarking prints text or a background pattern over the entire background of paper to restrict duplication of
documents.
[Date Format]
The setting configured here is shared by annotation, watermarking, and forced annotation.
[Default Watermark Effect]
Configure the defaults of hidden printing of watermarking.
[Default Secure Watermark]
Configure the text printed by watermarking.
[Font Size]
Configure the size of text printed by watermarking.
[Background Pattern]
Configure the background pattern to embed the text used by hidden printing.
[Font Color]
Configure the color of text of hidden printing of watermarking.
[Density]
Configure the density of text printed by watermarking.
[Watermark / Background Contrast]
Configure the contrast of text and backgrounds printed by watermarking.
[Force Watermark-Client Print]
Configure whether to force watermarking when printing from a computer.
To prioritize the settings of this machine, select [Allow Device Settings to Override]. To prioritize the settings of
TrustMarkingBasic (sold separately) or other software or print servers, select [Allow Client Settings to Override].
When [Allow Device Settings to Override] was selected, user information or user management numbers, the
machine ID, and the printing date are printed.
[Force Watermark-Media Print]
Configure whether to force watermarking when using Print from USB or Photo Print.
The printed text is user management numbers, the machine ID, and the print date.

Register the text printed by watermarking.

Print multiple samples with different background contrasts. Configure [Watermark / Background Contrast] based on
print samples.
