Emulation

Print data follows rules (syntax). These rules (syntax) are called a print language.
The print languages this machine supports can be classified as follows: Page Description Language, which creates
images by page, and emulation, which can obtain results close to the print results of other printers.

Switching Print Languages
The machine supports multiple emulation modes and can switch between multiple print languages.
Switching Languages by Commands
Commands to switch the supported print languages have been prepared.
Switching Languages Automatically
Data received by the host interface is analyzed, and the print language is designated automatically.
Protocol dependencies
Print languages can be fixed for each protocol (LPD, IPP, Port9100, and WSD (Web Services on Devices)) using
CentreWare Internet Services.
Mode Menu Screen
This screen appears when an emulation mode is selected using [Print Mode] at the Home screen.
Note
[Retrieve Programming], [Store / Delete Programming], and [Default Programming] appear for ESC/P and HP-GL/2.
Settings can be configured in the same way by CentreWare Internet Services.
Memory call
Call settings registered to memory.
Advanced checks/changes
The current setting values can be displayed by entering the item number of the function in [Item Number].
To change a setting value, enter the value to be changed in [New Value], and then tap [Save].
