Emptying the Hole Punch Waste Container (when Finisher-B3
is installed)
When the hole-punch waste container becomes full with punch waste, a message appears on the touch panel
display.
Note
 Empty the hole punch waste container when the device is on. If you empty the container while the device is off, the
device does not recognize that the container has been emptied.
 Empty the hole punch waste container after the message appears. Otherwise, the device cannot recognize the correct
remaining amount of the punch scraps.

Before emptying the punch waste in the hole-punch waste container, tap [Device] > [Supplies] on the Home screen and
check the status of the hole-punch waste container.
1.
Make sure that the device is not operating, and then lift up the finisher connection section top cover.
2.
Pull out the hole punch waste container.
3.
Empty the container.
4.
Insert the emptied hole punch waste container into the finisher until it stops.
5.
Close the finisher transport cover.
