Installing Print Drivers on Linux Computers

Email function settings

To use E-mail Notification Service, Mail Print, and other functions that use e-mail, the following settings must be
configured.
Email port
TCP/IP address
Subnet mask (configure if necessary)
Gateway address (configure if necessary)
DNS server address (configure if necessary)
Machine's E-mail Address
Email receiving protocol
SMTP server address
SMTP AUTH login name and password (configure is necessary)
POP3 server address (configure if necessary)
POP3 login name and password (configure is necessary)

Configuring email notifications
1.
Tap the display area of authentication information at the top left of the Home screen, and then login as a
machine administrator.
2.
Tap [Device].
3.
Configure the email address of this machine.
1)
Tap [Connectivity & Network Setup] > [Device's Email Address / Host Name].
2)
Configure the email address and host name.

Tap [<] to return to the [Connectivity & Network Setup] screen.

Configure the sending settings.
Note
The SMTP server settings must be configured to send e-mail. When [Protocol to Receive Email] is [POP3], configure the
SMTP server by [Outgoing / Incoming Email Settings]. For details, refer to "[SMTP Server Settings]" (P.129).
5.
Tap [<] to return to the [Connectivity & Network Setup] screen.
6.
Press the
<Home> button.
